How much of the game is free?
Lots! Six full game modes — Daily Challenge, Flag Quiz, Speed Round, Memory Match, Passport and the country-facts Learn library — are free to play, along with 200 countries. Six more modes (World Tour, Map Outlines, Landmarks, Emoji Mode, Anthems and Family Mode) plus the extra flag styles are the optional premium unlock.
How do I unlock the premium modes?
Open any locked mode, or go to Settings → Unlock Everything, and tap Unlock. It's a single one-time purchase — no subscription — that unlocks all premium game modes and every flag style.
I bought premium but it's locked on my other device
Tap Restore Purchase on the unlock screen (Settings → Unlock Everything). As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase, everything will unlock again at no extra cost.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No account is ever required, and the game plays fully offline. A connection is only needed the first time you make or restore a purchase, since that goes through the App Store.
Where are my scores and stamps stored?
Entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded or tracked. If you delete the app or use "Reset All Progress" in Settings, that data is cleared.
How is the Daily Challenge the same for everyone?
The daily set of flags is generated from the date, so every player worldwide gets the identical 10 flags each day. It rolls over at midnight UTC.
Which devices are supported?
Who's Flag Is It Anyway? is a universal app for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes — it's rated 4+, contains no ads, collects no data, and never links out to the web. It's a great way for kids to learn world geography.
